I also think of it as a very late b-day gift for myself, as my birthday is in Oct. |

Let's pray that The Sims 3 does come out on Feb 20th, 2009  But if I recall as well anyone other sims fan out there, remember when Maxis said that the release date for the Sims 2 was going to be in March 2004 I believe, but around that time they felt it wasn't necessary for a release because they felt that it could be more improved so they pulled back on it, and released in September that same year, which if they felt that way that's understandable, because the game turned out to be a worldwind - I just have a small sneaky suspicion that is going to be played out with The Sims 3 - but the only way to know for sure that it's coming out in Feb, is around early January; one of the Executive Producers on the game, will do a video on the actual gameplay, which they did with The Sims 2, with introducing Don---(if anyone remembers); if that happens - praise oh mary  but if no video exists, I have a bad feeling of terrible news  |

the pre-order is only available in the US and Canada  its annoying but true so my mum is ordering it through her friend in the US for me |
